Norm and Linda Payne decided to take early retirement at ages 54 and 49. Norm retired from IBM after working in mainframe computer maintenance for 32 years and Linda retired from a career in nursing. We sold our cars and all household furnishings, put the house up for sale and hit the road in September 1999 traveling fulltime in a new 2000 Newmar Dutch Star motorhome. In 2005 we traded for a 2005 Dutch Star. Check the pages below to see where we have been, what we're doing and where we plan to go.
