While talking we decided life would be much easier if it wasn't for the word "too." It is such a small word it should not have such an impact on our lives, but it does. Too is often misused and confused with "to" and "two" and the dictionary gives several definitions for too including "excessively" and "in excessive." So how does the word too negatively effect our lives?

It is too windy to sit outside.

That Mexican food is too hot to eat.

The price of fuel is too high for our fixed income.

It is too cold outside for a walk unless we wear winter coats.

We want to go to the west coast, but that is too far to drive.

It is only a three letter word so it is not banned like many four letter words. Life would be simpler if too was deemed to be off-limits and could never be spoken again, so I urge everyone to petition the word too be banned forever.
