Today I was baking a broccoli and cauliflower casserole, one of my specialities, and I always top it with French's French Fried Onions. I opened the pantry door and found no French's onions but I did find some bread crumbs so I sprinkled them on top. Now, a broccoli and cauliflower casserole without onions is like iced tea without lemon. Later, Linda pointed out the French's onions were in the bottom shelf of the pantry but they had always been on the top shelf since the day we bought the motorhome. Linda and I are both organized, but in different ways. If I lay a magazine on the couch I expect it to be there a week later when I decide to finish reading it. By the table I stack items in a sequence such as a rally registration form, receipt from Camping World, brochures for the website and a note listing pictures I have made. Then Linda comes along and "straightens" my stack and usually gets something out of sequence making me go into total confusion. I think my mind is too simple to accept change. Linda wants everything neat and placed somewhere even if it has never been there before. I still love her and thank her for trying to keep me organized. |
