A motorhome is the perfect place to recover from a major illness. Everything is on one level and it only takes a few steps to get to anything. From the queen size bed I can turn on the ceiling fan or the TV. It is about four steps from the bed to the bathroom and everything in the bathroom is within easy reach. Four more steps and I am at the refrigerator and two steps takes me to the dinette and computer. Another four steps and I can sit or lay on the sofa and watch satellite TV. Central heating and air conditioning keeps the motorhome comfortable.

In a house an ill person may have to walk up and down steps and from room to room. In a house there would also be grass to mow, flowers to water and the general cleaning and upkeep of the house. I recovered from major surgery in 1989 in a house and again this year in a motorhome. I can tell you the motorhome is much more comfortable. Matter of fact, after living in a motorhome the last three years I never want to own a house again.
