Beaded Jewelry
| Beading is one thing I never thought I would
be interested in doing. My friend Diane Emond expressed interest but did
not want to take a class alone so I joined her. Within days we were both
hooked on this hobby. Diane and I have worked together on many projects
with her designing and me on the technical end of putting her ideas into
workable projects.
Beading is very portable and I have been known to bead while we are driving our RV down the road as well as in service areas or out at the picnic table in campgrounds. Often someone will stop by to see what I am doing and before I know it I am giving a beading class and making new friends. Last fall we arrived at Escapees Rainbow Plantation before their "season" with a full activity schedule started. Not wanting to wait another month, I posted a notice and offered a class. This led to a full season of fun with other beaders and a weekly group is still meeting there. -Linda |
