After buying a Honda Reflex motor scooter we had a new hitch and platform installed on the rear of the motorhome so we could haul it between the motorhome and our Honda CR-V. But the platform was in a fixed position and so low it would drag on unlevel ground and Linda thought the ramp was too difficult to load and unload the scooter. The night before we left Louisville Metro KOA a motorhome pulled in the campground with a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle on an Overbilt Lift. We did not have a chance to talk with the owner, but we loved the lift and decided we had to have one. The lift drops to ground level for easy loading and unloading the scooter and then raises so it is out of the way for traveling. One person can push the scooter on the lift and secure it with tie- down straps. Tail/brake/turn signal lights on the lift are tied to the motorhome's rear lights as are the CR-V's lights for added safety. Our towbar attaches to the receiver so we can tow our Honda CR-V. The entire length of our motorhome, lift, towbar and Honda CR-V is just under 60-feet. The lift and receiver can be easily removed and stored and the CR-V can be connected directly to the motorhome.
