September 2002
There are no pictures this month

After being off the road over six months due to Norm's cancer we were anxious to hit the road again. Our first stop was at a Cummins service facility to have the motorhome's oil and filter changed. Then we went to one of our favorite parks, the Kentucky Horse Park near Lexington, KY. The first two days we spent washing the motorhome because it had set under a tree over six months and the roof and sides were stained. There are many beautiful horse farms near Lexington but due to a drought the grass was brown and looked sad.

We next went to near Medina, Ohio and visited Linda's brother's family, then to Loundonville, Ohio and the Ohio Amish Country. Norm returned to Kentucky for his first wife's mother's funeral so Linda's sister-in-law stayed in the motorhome and they visited the Amish country.

At Van Wert, Ohio we met many old and new friends at the Fall Escapade. It sure felt good to be on the road again and camping with friends. The town's people of Van Wert are extremely friendly and we ate in restaurants every night. After the rally we drove to Kokomo, IN for a visit with Norm's sister and brother-in-law. Then we rolled down the road to Louisville again and another round of medical appointments.

Next month we will get back into our fulltiming lifestyle and have a better travelogue with many pictures.
